Ute Sonnenberg

Ute Sonnenberg is a professional in Africa travel and environmental photography
with background in economics and psychology,
creator of team alignment experiences and intuition training,
based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Joel Lipton

Joel Lipton is a Los Angeles based photographer, cinematographer and director.
His award winning imagery includes advertising, entertainment, celebrity, and food.

The convergence of stills and motion has arrived and you can usually find Joel moving between both mediums, also when shooting personal work. Having been a guest lecturer at UCLA Extension Classes as well as the Art Institute of California, in Hollywood, Joel is always ready to share his insights about the industry, as well as his technical knowledge of the latest hardware and software for the stills and motion picture industry.

Peter Tomsu

Peter Tomsu has a master and PhD in Technical Science from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria.

Besides an international career in the internet industry, he is a specialist with exquisite knowledge of
camera systems including Leica (rangefinder and SLR), Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad,
Phase One for medium format and mirrorless camera systems.

His photographic emphasis focuses on wildlife, landscape and nature as well as portraits
and event photography. Peter’s passion for photography reflects in his artistic ambition
to create magnificent and inspiring images of the world around us.
From his home base Vienna, he travels the world on photographic adventures.

Gertrud Sörries is a Nürnberg, Germany, based keen photographer and experienced
Africa traveller with a professional background on executive level.

She has a wealth of knowledge about photographic Africa travel, especially Namibia.
Her extended travels brought her to the most diverse countries in the world,
yet her love is Africa and she travelled east and southern Africa extensively.

Kinamba Community Project

The project provides educational opportunities for the people of the Kamutwa communities in the Kinamba area of Kigali, Rwanda. We are sponsoring the education of a child trough primary and secondary school.

Zazamalala Foundation Madagascar

The foundation has the goal to restore and protect sustainable, resilient, biodiverse and multifunctional dry forest ecosystems in western Madagascar that are safe havens for wildlife and improve livelihoods. We support the project with the purchase of land and the reforestation of that land.

Emmission Offest

To reduce the carbon footprint of tourism we contribute to offsetting the emission of our guests flights to Africa with high-impact carbon credits from Gold Standard-certified projects. Gold Standard Climate+ Projects also support local communities.
