Wildlife photography experiences are available from 2 guests. Individual bookings are available at request.
They are accompanied by Ute Sonnenberg, professional environmental photographer, specialised in wildlife photography and presenter of photography workshops for Hapag Lloyd cruises.
Wildlife photography tuition is provided throughout the safari, from technical advice over practical tips for photographers on safari to artistic insights and post-production information. Guests of all experience levels in photography are welcome, also beginners. The experiences are presented in English, Dutch and German.

The wildlife photography experiences are available as pre-designed safari to the four best African safari destinations on flexible dates. They cover the Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kruger Park in South Africa, the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania.
However, they can be booked as add-ons for any safari, customised to the African safari holiday itinerary.

Wildlife Photo Experience Kruger, South Africa
The Sabi Sand in Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa are
probably the best safari destination in the world to see leopards.
In this premium safari area is Londolozi Private Game Reserve with
its famous tradition in conservation and leopard research the venue
for the wildlife photography experience in South Africa. The game
reserve offers outstanding sightings of the Big Five, exceptionally
good leopard sightings, comfortable accommodation in traditional

Wildlife Photo Experience Great Migration, Masai Mara
The Great Migration is world famous for its dramatic events at the
Mara River crossing with thousands of wildebeest, zebra and
gazelle facing the strong currents and large crocodiles while
heading to the green plains on the other side.
Witnessing this event in the Masai Mara is a photographer's
heaven. This wildlife photography experience allows guests
to immerse entirely in photography, wildlife and nature while being
professionally guided and accommodated in a beautiful camp.
All game drives are in open Lancruisers and full day game drives
to the crossing points at the Mara River are possible.

Wildlife Photo Experience Great Migration, Serengeti
Although the part of the Great Migration in the Masai Mara is
more known to the public, because of the river crossing, the
Great Plains of the Serengeti host most of the movements
of the big herds throughout the year. The wildebeest calving takes
place in the southern Serengeti between the end of January up
until March and the gathering of the herds in the central Serengeti
before they move into the Masai Mara is an impressive sighting.
Therefore visiting the Serengeti as a photography lover is fantastic.

The delta of the Okavango River in the middle of the Kalahari Desert
in Botswana is one of the most beautiful safari destinations in Africa.
Its unique combination of lush vegetation, water, mineral rich soil,
