They always look very confident, like happy with themselves and maybe that is how you feel when you are always free to fly wherever you want to go. They are little big spirits, bringing color and joy.

Trees are like magical beings with a soul and a heart. They give cities a green heart, their shades comfort the resting traveller and the light playing with their leaves is a pleasure for the eyes.
And they are often forgotten or overlooked as beautiful photographic subjects and especially often on photographic safaris and team building photo safaris, but definitely not on wildlife photography courses, at least not on mine.

Africa is time. There is the saying “no rush in Africa” and it can feel like time has stopped, when seeing ancient animals like rhinos or crocodiles. It might end up as a philosophical body of work, probably brining up more questions than answers.

It can get very hot there and one can get the feeling of being in an oven. Nontheless it is a beautiful park with dramatic landscapes and fabulous views on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

This ephoto book tells the story of a photographic safari to the Great Migration in the Masai Mara. The day we saw the crossing was a day of drama, you could feel it; it was in the air. The herds were nervous, zebra families calling for each other from both sides of the Mara River.
